Sissy also takes it to the carpet in the living room a couple of times and then decides to stay and eat the rest.

Sissy is so gentle that I have to shove it in to her mouth. She just stands there till I get it in there and then eats it. I'm so used to other dogs that when you give them a treat you have to look to see if your hand is still there. Such gentle babies boxers are. Aren't they the greatest?

I would be careful with wood chips as some of them have dyes on them and no telling what else.

I'm not sure about bunnies but most animals have to be stimulated to go to the bathroom when very young or they will die. You might try and find something on the net about this.
