Emma is sick

poor little thing...how is emma doing? does she seem to be getting worse or better? i know all it seems you can do is worry about her, i remember what it was like when riley jo was sick. my thoughts and prayers are with you. and brutus sends lots of slobbery kisses emma's way.

GOOD NEWS (long)

Well she went to the vet yesterday. The vet took some blood and looked at the x rays and did not seem too worried. We took her to a new vet because we were not happy with the old one and he was great. She instantly wins people over because she is so friendly. Anyway he told us to give her a special diet that is I guess pretty bland. Also because she was not drinking he gave us something called renew or something? It is like pedolyte for dogs flavored chicken broth of course. He I guess could see that she was going to have some diareah and said it was going to come out eventually. There were no blocks or anything. My guess after talking to my vet friend was that she was backed up because her anal glands were full which was causing her difficulty in eliminating and it was starting to get toxic to her making her feel ill. She ate that morning and then came home after the vet and ate again. We knew it had to come soon. So after she at the second time she pooped. The first was normal but she then went again and there it was. After that she was her old self. Happy and jumpy and playing like crazy. We did not let her go to camp today just because we wanted her to chill for a little. But I think she will be ready to go back on thursday. Long story short. She is much better and she should be fine. Oh and I will be posting new pics soon!

I'm so happy that Emma is going to be alright! It can be so scary when something is wrong with your baby, but luckily she bounced right back Can't wait to see the new pics!
