    Skin Problems

Hello all. My boxer Judah has about 4 or 5 raised lumps at various spots on his back and head. These lumps are like mosquito bites but he has lost his hair at the spot and the skin can be seen. The skin loss is about 2 or 3 mm at each lump. Any ideas before I take him to the vet?

    Need help

Thank you both for your help, I did not realise that about the dry food.(expanding) The main reason I want to change him over to BARF, is that he has had a few health problems lately (a cough and his coat could be better) I will slowly introduce him onto the BARF program, and see how he...

    Need help

If things don't improve I would recommend reattending the vets. Judah had a similar problem that just appeared about 6 weeks ago, after no improvement he was x-rayed and he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia - not the kind of news we wanted to hear as he is only 15mths old. We now have to...

    Afraid of thunderstorms

I had a similar problem with Judah when he was a young pup. Living in Darwin (Australia) we get really nasty tropical storms during our wet season. The vet suggested that I buy a tape recording of thunderstorms and play it to Judah inside gradually increasing the sound level over a period of a...

Hi everyone, I am new to boxer world and was hoping that some of you may be able to shed some light on a problem my 14mth old male boxer (Judah) is having. He has recently been diagnosed by our vet with hip problems that require him to be treated with an injection of cartrophen. he had one...
