The facts re: breed ban in Charlotte.

All around the world Here in Bogota we have the same issue. The mayor of the city decided that five breeds were to be considered as "potencially dangerous" (Rottweilers, Dobermans, Pitbulls, the japanese Tosa and the Brazilian Fila). They have to be at ALL TIMES leashed, muzzled and with choke...

POLL - Lap Dog or Independent

When I'm at home (I work away, aaaaway from home) I consider Orion a 90lb attachement to my body. No matter where I go he has to be with me and of course my lap. Canela likes to be with him, but will get in my lap after or at the same time as he does.

    Does anybody else's baby kick?

I've noticed also that Orion is the only one that tries to kickstart the grass. Canela has never done that...Is it a macho thing? LOL

Orion was a 2 y/o male when we broguth home Canela, a 3 m/o female that looks exactly like him. They accepted each other right away, although we were concerned about Orion being jealous. To our surprise he has never being that way, except when it comes to the door bell. He HAS to be the one...

Stunned! Opinions on Boxers 'n newborns?!

Obviously I have not been pregnant LOL but I'm the proud father of Sergio 5 y/o and Victoria 6 m/o. Orion was introduced to our family when Sergio was 3 y/o and since then they are best friends. Sergio is afraid of the dark so whenever he has to go in a dark room, before he turns the lights on...

    Cicada's are coming!!

No cicada season here (kinda funny) One of the big advantages of living near Bogota is that we are so high in the mountains (8600 ft) that we dont have bug problems. When we lived in another Army base back in '02 we had all kind of problems: ticks, fleas, ants hey you name it, we have it here...
