    Hello from Nebraska

Our 5 month old boxer loves the snow. She begs to go out all the time and is quite content to stay out there for quite a while during the day. It seems we only get her in the house for a little while and she is begging to go back out and dig through the snow. Quite a surprise to me...

    Miss Molly's ears

Molly is almost 4 months old now. When I spoke with the vet she said that Molly has strong cartlidge. That even if we had her ears cropped they would probably fall across the top of her head. That is why she recommended taping them down to train them to stay that way.:D

    Bad Mouthing The Breed Again!

What a good man you have. He definately deserves a big smoochy when he gets home. Some people are so ignorant. Have you heard this one? I was speaking to a fellow boxer owner at work last night and he was telling me that many home owners insurance companies will not cover a home with a...

I wasn't sure whick forum to post this at, I hope this is the right one. After researching and speaking with a vet my husband and I decided against cropping of our Miss Molly's ears. We were considering it because he ears don't lay down like they should. Even the breeder told me she has...

    Potty revenge

I take Molly out about every 1 to 1 and half hours. She seems to do fine with that. During the day there isn't much activity. She is pretty much Mom's lap dog and when she gets up I take her out and she always goes potty for me. When the kids come home from school they also take her out just...

    Potty revenge

Hi everyone! Here is my potty problem of the week. I have read several of the other potty problems but didn't see one like this. Our 12 week old boxer is pottying in the house. Not poop (unless the kids don't take her out when we aren't home) but potty. I spoke with my breeder, she and...

    Peeing inside the house!

Peeing Don't feel alone. Molly is 10 weeks and when it is warm outside she does wonderful with her potty training. She actually loves to be out. But now that it has gotten quite cold, I have to pick her up to take her out. She then will only go pee and beg to come back inside. If I give in...

    Cropping the ears?

Cropping I just want to thank everyone for their advice. I have decided against cropping her cute floppy ears and just hope they eventually grow with her better. I am going to try the massage that was recommended, however, she thinks when I rub her ears it is play time. :D

    Cropping the ears?

Cropping My husband is the one who originally wanted her ears cropped. He likes the look better, he seems to think they look my distinguished that way. I think they look cuter down. Where would I find information on massaging techniques to help them even up some?

    Cropping the ears?

Cropping Miss Molly is 10 weeks old now. I think the floppy ears are cute, but the one is sitting higher up than the other so I wasn't sure. Thank you for the links. I will be checking them out. I have been trying to find some information on it.

    Cropping the ears?

My husband and I had discussed cropping of our puppy ears, (I think that is what it is called) and had agreed not to do it. But now that she is getting a little older I have noticed that her ears don't sit evenly on her head. One ear sits up higher on her forhead than the other. So now I'm...
