Just curious...Lucky comes home from doggy day care every night and is completely wiped out. She looks at us as if to say, "I'm sooooo tired!" It is almost pathetic...can barely walk to go outside. Is this the same for everyone else?

Lucky started doggy day care today as well. We are getting our house painted and needed a place for her to go. This is her first day, but will be there everyday this week. She cried a little when I left, nothing like that to make you sad, but I don't think it will last. I'm never as much fun...

Lucky circles so many times before she lays down. She also makes sure all the pillows (on the couch) or blankets are where they should be. Like others have said, then comes the huge sigh when she finally falls into THE spot. We just like calling it her "comfy dance."

What about 9 AM this Sunday, 8/15? (We have a date with a golf course at noon.) I'd love to meet up with some new boxers and Lucky is always wanting to play in the water. Let me know if that works for you all.

Evanston's dog beach is permit only. But, there are a few parks that we take Lucky to that don't need permits. There's also Montrose Beach which doesn't need a permit. Would anyone like to meet there Sunday -- preferably in the morning?

We would love to meet up for boxer play at Montrose some day. We live in Evanston and go to the beach there, but would head down to meet other boxers. Keep posting if you find a date that works. I know there are other boxers who go there so it would be fun to get all of them together.

Just wondering if the UTI cleared up. We are going through the same thing with Lucky -- she's on her third round with Clavamox and we're waiting for this culture to come back. I hope that your situation has cleared up. We can't get her spayed until it is cleared up. Hopefully soon!!

It has been awhile since I've posted and wanted to just give a quick update. Lucky was on medication for 10 days for her UTI and that seemed to clear up. When they were doing a test, they noticed that her white blood cell count was still high. So, they did more medicine and another urine...

I wish we could join, but we can't make it tonight. Maybe some night next week. Have lots of boxer fun!!!
