    Pelvic bladder

Gretta was vomiting blood yesterday. Took her to vet. Had X-ray done. Today they tell me they see something in her pelvis and also felt something on rectal exam. They think her bladder is in the pelvis because they don't see it where it should be on X-ray. They are now recommending ultrasound...

Happy New Year to all my fellow boxer lovers. I haven't been on here in a while. 2013 was a difficult year for us. Filled not only with personal issues but our beloved George( our brindle boxer) passed away in August. It was so incredibly hard to say good bye to my best friend, and even now as...

I totally know what you are going through.Last year we thought we were going to lose our Boxer George. Our vet thought he had DM but turned out he ruptured both of his ACL's. We spent major money to fix his knees, hoping to give him the ability to do the things he loves to do and be comfortable...

    My dog is a killer

re:surgery Just wanted to let you know that our George ruptured both his ACL's and tore both of his miniscus. We decided to go ahead with the TTA surgery and he is doing wonderful. He still has a lot of rehab ahead of him but his spunkiness is back and hard to keep him quiet!

    Prairie dog food

prairie food I just recently switched George to the prairie dry food, using the beef and barley. He really enjoys it and eats it up! We switch foods frequently as he gets bored and won't eat-my vet does not agree with this and says I have now conditioned him that if he doesn't eat his food, he...

    dog run odor

I am looking for any suggestions as to how to solve our smelly situation! Our dogs(we have 4 of them!) have their own fenced in yard. We pick up the "poop" regularly and my husband tills the dirt and puts lyme down, but the urine smell is still so unbelievable. Does anyone know of anything I can...

    Solid Gold Wolf King

Hi Angela, George is very picky about his food and we have changed from so many brands-against my vets advice. When George was about a year old we switched him to Canidae which was fine for a bit, then he stopped eating that and we went to wellness. Again he became picky and stopped eating that...

How long do you leave your boxer alone?

Our George is really not left alone too often as my husband and I work opposite shifts. But there are times when he is left alone-sometimes it has been 8 hrs and he has freedom of the house. He spends most of his day on the couch as he is the ultimate couch potato! He also has access outside as...
