    Dude.... Rosie STINKS!!

Rosie is now 5 months old and has been on Beneful food the entire time. I have no idea how good this food is, but she has gained weight perfectly! She is extremely and beautifully proportioned. As with all Boxers, she's had a bit of a gas problem. But it was maybe once or twice a day before that...

    afraid i'm messing up

you're fine! Rosie did not get the potty thing at all until she was about 3 months old. Now she never goes in the house unless we've forgotten to leave her door open. Occasionally she gets too excited when people visit, but other than that she's great. She won't go on command yet, I'm not...

    Rosie SITTING on Sam...

Our 4 year old is still getting dominated by our 4 month old pup. He's a Chug (chihuahua/pug) and Rosie is already more than twice his size. Lately, she has taken to SITTING on his head or back, just "owning" him. The poor guy just lays there. It seems like every time I turn around, she is...

    Rosie ate raw chicken! Help?

Thank you! It was all pre-cut chicken with no bones. mostly just fat and stuff we didn't eat. I was just worried because it had been out all night. We watched her close and she seems to be doing fine. Thanks for putting my mind at ease. The vet got us worried about all kinds of stuff, as most...

    Rosie ate raw chicken! Help?

My three month old just got into a trash bag and ate raw chicken pieces from last night. Should I be worried? What should I watch for or prevent?? Thanks! Dave

    Ears and Head question

sounds good! Thanks for the tips. Rosie's ear isn't that bad. It's more like it folds in half. Even if it stays it's not incredibly funny looking. I'll try to post some pics. She's already almost quadrupled in size in the 6 weeks we've had her!

    teething pups mouthin on hands-ok?

Teething on hands My opinion - It's a NO. Especially if you have young children. This puppy will grow fast, WAY faster than your kids and eventually it will hurt. We give our 3 month old pup lots of puppy nylabone bones to chew and eventually move to the adult nylabone. The other post is right...

    Ears and Head question

I saw a thread about ears, but it seems to be closed, so I want to bring it up again. Rosie's left ear folds in a weird spot and doesn't lie like the other one. Not a huge deal, but it does kind of bug me considering the money we spent for her. From what I'm reading, it seems like the...

    Growling during play? etc.

Awesome! Thanks for all the responses and advice. I really appreciate it. I do walk them together, both on the same side and at the same length, trying to force them to learn to walk side by side. What a sight that will be when Rosie is full grown! And the growling/posturing/protecting...

    Lots of barking w/attitude

Rosie is almost 3 months and has discovered barking. She tried it a few times when not allowed to get on the couch, chew the table, etc. But consistency and being stern has helped. Now, if I make a move toward her while she's doing it, she bolts!!

    Growling during play? etc.

I have my first boxer pup, Rosie, and she's about 10 weeks old. I have a few behavior questions if you don't mind. First- She plays a lot and very well with our other dog Sam. But, when she gets carried away, she starts growling. Not violent or over aggressive though. Is this okay? Sam is a...
