Our 4 year old is still getting dominated by our 4 month old pup. He's a Chug (chihuahua/pug) and Rosie is already more than twice his size. Lately, she has taken to SITTING on his head or back, just "owning" him. The poor guy just lays there. It seems like every time I turn around, she is standing over him, sitting on him, moving him from his spot, etc.

She very friendly with him, though sometimes likes to play when he isn't interested.

I need advice on how to break this. Sam has been the BEST dog, yet has lately taken to growling, pooping in the house and other behaviors he has not done since he was a puppy.

Please help.

Thanks!
Dave

You pup is only 4 months old and still has the "puppy license". AKA they can get away will murder. It is amazing what an adult dog will put up with from a puppy. Sam may well put Rosie in her place soon.
