My new puppy, Sophie the 2 oz runt, was 5 1/2 lbs when we brought her home 11 days ago. Last night she weighed 11 POUNDS! I am still worried though because even though she had doubled her weight, her little ribs are just so obvious... I feed her 3 to 4 meals a day (some days she just picks)

I am only using the leash for potty time in the front yard; not actual walks of any distance... If we do not use the leash she will poop on the porch! When I got her she had never been outdoors, much less on the grass! eek! :)

I can't tell the difference yet as my girl has NOT circled with sniffing. I think she has to go because she is sniffing so we stand outside FOREVER before she goes. Other times she will be seemingly checking things out, but then squat without any warning. Suggestions? ;)
