I forgot to also mention that when my parents babysit my skin kids, they also get to babysit Chief. Anytime the kids go over there for an overnight stay, Chief tags along. He gets all excited when I'm packing the suitcase! And of course, he rules their house just like ours. It is so hilarious!

If it were up to me, he would sleep with me every night...but my husband doesn't like it. So, he is pretty much back and forth between a pillow on my floor...my oldest son's bed...or the couch. If my husband isn't home, I will sneak him in bed with me!

I am always scared to put Chief in the back yard. He is too smart to be fenced in, he will figure out a way to get out. I'm not worried about him running off, he wouldn't go any further than my front porch...but I'm afraid someone will see how beautiful he is and try to take him...

I think the best thing you can do is train your pup to respond to your commands. Chief does the same thing, but if I just say "Chief" in my "strict" tone, he will stop in his tracks and not bother the other people. `
