Yummy - Christmas Tree Water

Since today is Sunday we went to my dad's for dinner & playtime. Hogan, my dad's dog, figured out there was water under the Christmas tree & was helping his self to some. Well, then my 2 decided to have a little bit too! It was so funny trying to keep them out of the water. Then when we came home they were trying to drink water out of our tree & were really confused when they couldn't get anything - our tree is fake! Duh, goofy dogs when will they ever learn!

Please Please Please be careful! Xmas tree water is very very toxic to doggies and if taken in too much could be fatal :( Please watch your babies to make sure nothing is wrong and if you see something take them to the vet ASAP.

Wow, I didn't know that it was toxic. What makes it so toxic??

I'm glad they didn't get too much out of it. And thank goodness I have a fake one and we only go over there once a week.

Thanks for the info about xmas trees being toxic, 4 more dogs here are safer for it.

We opted for the fake this year b/c we wern't sure how Oskar would do. Suprisingly he did well with the tree. I will be posting pics. a tad later. Good infor to know for the real one next year! Thanks so much!
