Last week I went to my nieghbors for a few minutes and left my boxer alone in my apartment. I did not lock the door because I was just right next door. When I came home my boxer had locked me out!! Did I mention that I live on on the 3rd floor??? Anyway my friend said that she would climb up to my patio. The only problem with that was she could only make it to the 2nd floor. So... another nieghbor who had been watching us deceices that he would climb up. The only problem with that was after he got to my patio he realized that my dog was loose in the apartment and he is afraid of dogs. So now I have one neighbor trapped on the 2nd floor and one trapped on the third floor. When lucky for me another nieghbor showed up. (He likes to take my boxer for walks) He was able to climb up AND get in. My boxer was so happy to see him her whole body was wagging. She was so excited that so many people came to see her. The lesson is never leave without her keys.
Diabla earned her name that day.

UPDATE: She did it again!! BUT I got her...I had my keys with me this time. My sister does have an extra key. Her number was on my cell phone in my apartment. I am getting one for my nieghbor this week.

When you name your dog Diabla, you have to know some days she will earn her name. He he

Such a funny story! It seems boxers love to lock doors. Tyson locked himself in the bathroom last week and was throwing a fit until we were able to get the door opened. I told him "Silly, don't lock the door and you won't be stuck in there!" He just cocked his head to the side and walked away.
