Yogurt for gas?

I recently read the if you give your dog 1 tsp. of plain yogurt for every 10 lbs of body weight that it will help reduce gas in your dog. Has anyone tried or heard of this?

The yogurt works for us. We add about 1 Tbls. to their breakfast every morning and it has drastically reduced the amount of gas and best of all got rid of the room filling stench. The dogs just love it.

I just started giving my babies yogurt not too long ago and it has worked wonders for us here. I give them about 2 T. every other day and it works just fine. Venus used to be my really gassy one. She would clear out a room in no time and bring tears to your eyes. But, it's all better now.
