JulieM hydrogen peroxide is good but has no drying agent in it, moisture in the ear is alot of the cause of ear infections. I use R7 ear cleaner regularly in my grooming shop it has alcohol for drying the ear and plus it also has eucalyptus in it which soothes irritated ears. I often recommend they take the dog to the vet to find out what it is and get meds for it. One thing you have to remember is after you get meds for it you have to clean the ear before putting the medication in it. I have alot of customers that put the meds in the ear on top of all the debris, which really is a waste of medication.
