yeast in the nails ?!

I think that's what its called but my baby has this reddish blotchy discoloration on the base of her nails (up by her actual paw) If its not yeast then what could it be and how do you get rid of it ?? it just showed up a couple of weeks ago !

any help or input would be great

It does sound like a yeast infection but iv never seen this Im just going on whats been posted on other threads,but im sure someone has seen this and will chime in with an answer.

Justice use to get reddish streaks in her nails on/off for 5 years and they cleared up when she was diagnosed with thyroid issues and put on meds...just a thought.

Our boxer had yeast problems as a result of being on antibiotics (Cloranfenicol). We gave him apple cider vinegar (I think a teaspoon twice a day). That definitely helped, and also once he came off the meds, it was totally gone.
