Yay ! We are getting a new baby!

We are pretty excited around here! We were approved by the rescue and our new boxer boy flew into Vancouver from an L.A. rescue on Friday evening. He is 1 1/2 years old , classic fawn color and has an adorable tongue that pokes out of his mouth a little. His foster mom tells us that he is very sweet and listens quite well. We will probably make the drive out to pick him up this coming weekend ( only a 4 hour drive but a little hairy in winter as it involves travelling through some high mountain passes) Can't wait to meet him!

Our new boxers name is Slugger . Im not thrilled with his name, it isnt what I would have picked but I doubt we will change it, dont want to confuse the poor guy! I tried to upload some photos today, I think it worked so once they are approved have a look. His foster mom sent them to us yesterday...I think he s just the cutest thing!!

He certainly is a handsome boy! Slugger isn't such a bad name - we rescued a (then) three year old named "Stinky". Enjoy your new furbaby ~ Cathy
