Xia vet appointment

Xia went to the Vet tonight. She got a clean bill of health. She's only 44lbs, so she needs to gain some weight. but no parasites, her heart sounds great, no intestinal issues and had her much overdue shots. It's just so sad that people are so ignorant. The vet said feeding her good food and some time she'll be fine. We switched her from the cheap food they were feeding her to Innova (Max's brand) She's is eating well, starting to play and really settling in. We'll take pictures this week and put them out here. Thanks for the support!

Glad Xia got a good bill of health and she is now with someone who will love and take care of her. Good luck.

I agree. Kona is just over 10 months and she weighs about 45 lbs and looks muscular. She will probably be smaller than the other two were but I think she will make the low end of the female standard on height and weight when she finisehs growing.

Ok. I see from your other post she is a 2-1/2 yr old rescue. Yes, she sounds a little under weight. I believe 50 - 55 lbs is the standard for females. :)

Thanks everyone! yep, Xia's 2 1/2. You can see every bone in her spine and her ribs are protruding. I think the food they had her on was not doing her any good. But with love and patience she'll be in good shape soon enough.
