would like to challenge Bella

I would like to give Bella a challenge when it comes to playing. I would like to get some suggestions about diferent games besides the usual "fetch and retreive", or "play fighting"? thanks a lot for any help!

Cash goes CRAZY for a laser pointer!.....he'll chase that thing all day long if i let him, it's soooooo funny to watch him getting after it too......

If you want to give her a bit more of a mental challenge, you might consider trying games hiding her toys and encouraging her to find them. A few dogs even learn to search for toys by name

Yes...let me tell you. When Harley was a youngster, he had a favorite stuffed duck. Of course he had many toys, but loved his duck and I said it enough that he learned it's name, "duck". One day, a co-worker was over visiting and I told Harley to go get his duck...he trotted off to my bedroom and came prancing back out with his duck! My co-worker was extremely impressed and I was very proud

I totally agree with the laser pointer! Koda and Miya both go nuts. If we even reach into the bowl it's kept in Koda starts spazzing out! Another fun game is hide and seek. Get your baby to sit in one room while you go hide somewhere in another. (It works best if there's 2 of you, so your baby doesn't here you call them.) Koda gets VERY excited when he finds me especially after a long (5 min) hunt. Miya hasn't caught onto that game though.

We also play hide and seek. We have our 3 skin kids go hide anywhere in the house then we tell Nikita which one to find. She also loves it when we sit in a big circle and each of us has treats....DH starts by telling her to go to DS (gives her treat), DS tells her to go to DD (gives her treat) and so on. It's a great game cause she knows each of us by name. This way, if i need her to wake up one of kids (usually sleepyhead DS) I just tell her "go upstairs, find DS" and she races up there and riles him out of bed!!

Obedience can actually be very fun too. Most dogs love to play tug, when you incorporate it with obedience. My dog will go nuts when she sees her tug and we have a lot of fun. I also made her a spring pole where she tugs at it and jumps pretty high to get it. She gets a lot of good exercise from that.

We play hide and seek/ people and toys,( he loves hide and seek) keep away with his toy that he picks out, (he picks one out and we play) We play chase/tag I chase him with a long stick, touch him and then he chases us. We set up Obstacles so he has to figure out how to get around the to get to us. Anything to get him thinking/ moving.

Dakota no longer get laser pointer/ that is all he wanted to do.

We do the 3 bowl game,put a treat under 1 bowl mix them around & Beau has to pick the bowl with the treat under it
