We have had our puppy for a little over three weeks. Yesterday he went to get his second set off shots. The vet told us that he is very skinny and atleast a pound under weight. He is on a very good diet, and I have been feeding him 2 1/2 to 3 cups of dry food mixed with wet every day. The only way we can get him to eat is to hand feed him....which by the way is not what i want to have to do for the rest of his puppy hood! He just looks really skinny and I'm scared that he is not getting what a growing puppy needs. I have him on suppliments too. Can anyone give me any ideas on how to get a 11 week old puppy to eat?..........other than hand feeding!!

I have seen a few posts since I joined on putting stuff on the food to encourage them to eat......yogurt? But I am so new, I am not sure. You can try to search a thread on feeding (problems). Good luck. I hope he comes around.

Wellness dry and wet....it's all organic...maybe thats why he doesn't want it! But like I said he'll eat it if I'm hand feeding him, not as much as he should be eating, but a little.
