Hello all, I have a question. Rocky is passing worms again(he has been wormed 4 times now and he is only almost 6 months old). I started to notice them a week ago, and saw a really big one this morning. They appear to be dead(no movement), but I am going to call my vet about it. Has anyone had this happen, or have any advice? I wrote a thread recently about his many number of poops in the day, I was thinking allergies, but now I wonder could it be the worms? Thanks in advance for the direction, and your time.

BTW, do you think that I should have Apollo wormed again, no signs of worms, but they could pass to him?

Actually, we've been through all of that(he gets the runs with wormer as well, but it's gone no more than 24 hours later). He has been tested(dh took him then) and he's been wormed 4 times. I am not sure what type of worms they are, I need to ask the vet. All I know is that he's been passing worms here in the last week or so, but I don't think that is normal(Apollo doesn't pass worms and never has since we've had him-his whole life). It appears that you too are having worm problems.:( If I have anything positive to report after speaking to the vet, I'll surely pass that along to you. Thanks for your response and good luck with your worms.

It sounds to me that Rocky has tapeworms. Sarge has not had this problem but he has had worms before. The vet informed me the only worms that you would see in their stool are tapeworms. I don't know if this helps but thought I might offer what I have been told.

Keep us posted

Tapeworms would make sense because he eats like he's going to the electric chair, and he poops like, 6 times a day!!! I am calling the vet on Monday, and will definitely ask about that. The breeder had told me shortly after we got him that she was having a time with the other litter mate that she kept(having worms), plus, he's not sick or impaired in any way, he's his normal rowdy self. Thanks you guys! I'll let you know what the vet says Monday!
