We got our boxer about a month and a half ago and need some advice from other working owners as to how to care for your dog while at work. My wife and I both work too far away to be able to go home on lunch and let hime out on a concistent basis. My wife has been going since we got him but cannot keep it up forever. We keep him in a crate while we are gone and was having success with it unitl about two weeks ago. He started peeing in his crate whether or not we go home at lunch. He had not peed at all in it until we missed a few days due to us not being able to leave work and let him out at lunch. Will the puupy learn not to pee in there once he gets older or will he think that it is ok to pee in there because he continually does it? Should we try another method? We are the only ones that can take care of him and are not left with many options. Pleae help?

Is the crate too big? And do you really clean the crate out when he goes in there? Also, what type if any bedding is in the crate?
