The story was beautiful and amazingly true. I have walked down that painful path a time or two when I have had to let a pet go.
I have tears running down my face also. How true is their love for us that they are satisfied with just an old sock or shoe to play with. Without my furbabies I would have never known the meaning of unconditional love. They define the word. I have never loved like I have loved them. Those that do not have pets are missing such a wonderful event of devotion and love that they give us. I am a better person for having my furbabies to love.

great story

Here is an example of something I would have never seen if not for a slobbery boxer.

Nala gets up on a stump outside one of our windows and licks the screen. The little holes in the screen collect the water and make a little dot-to-dot reflection pattern all over the windowsill. As the water evaporates, you see the dots disappear. So it is an everchanging pattern.

I love the way they open our eyes!
