Hi,
My male boxer, Eric, would talk all day like that too. He was extremely vocal, and very affectionate. He would talk usually the most, if Ginger wanted attention and he would be jealous. (I used to call him the affection police) His sister, Ginger, does not talk the way he would. (He died when he was nine) Ginger has slowed down quite a bit, from cancer. She is almost 13 years old. She stopped "singing" about 6 months ago, she would howl, the minute I got home, with any hard object in her mouth-like a nylabone, and the sound would reverberate off the bone. She would go on on and on. Of course, I always clapped and would yell "Yea!" This guaranteed a bone serenade for five minutes without fail. Ginger is also a big "purrer" when she is realy happy, or wants something very badly, she puts her little lips together, and purrs, and then says "yow yow" an incomplete bark. I think it's just the boy boxers that do "woo woo" My friend's male boxer, Johaan, would sing all the time-wooo wooo, He was extremely affectionate too-I used to call him the "mobile kiss unit" He could tell if you were the slightest bit blue, and he would mobilize immediately and kiss you incessantly. I think it's just the males!
Best,
Nunya
