I'm sorry but how many people have to tell you to take him to the vet before you do it? I don't mean to sound harsh but come on. If you aren't satisfied with your vet take him to another. Before it's too late.

Wilson threw up like that while still pooping too. He ended up having to have surgery to remove a blockage. PLEASE get him to a vet asap.

Any results yet?? How is Duke doing? I hope all is ok. If he has lost that much weight, I would be very concerned. If you don't get answers from your regular vet, try a second one.

I am soo concerned. He gave me a look this afternoon. He was lying down, looked over at me, gave it all the energy that he had to get up and come over to me and look me right in the eyes. He then sat down at my feet trying to get as close to me as possible. Then a few seconds later, he walks into the bathroom and starts to throw up again. I knew at that moment is was necessary for a second opinion. I immeditelly called another vet and took him in. I just got back from the vet and the parvo results came up positive. He had had his first 2 shots a while back, and just received the third one yesterday at the first vet. They told me that he was very bad off and they are going to do everything that they can. They are going to keep him there for about 4 days she said on IV fluids and they are going to administer drugs and monitor him. I am sooo upset, I don't know what to think.

my puppy wouldnt eat very much when we first got her, i had to change her food 3 times because we assumed she was attracted to the smell of my older dogs food cuz she would try to eat that..now shes on technical puppy food. She never threw up however... when our older dog was a puppy, she was sick the first few days (she had every kind of worm there was, according to the vet) anyway we gave her white rice and hamburg mixed together...and plain yogurt..and that setteled her stomach.. good luck.

I'm REALLY glad you took him to another vet. Now we'll just send lots of positive healing vibes and prayers that he will pull thru and be just fine. Hang in there.
