Loki is a 6 month old female, and has been throwing up at least once a day for the past few that we know of. Nothing bad looking about it, and her stool is fine. We started feeding them science diet when we got them at 5 weeks, and hated the fishy smell it gave their entire bodies, so we recently (1-2 months ago) switched foods. My BF Nick told me to get Purina, so I did, knowing it wasn't that good of a food, but since they are technically his (i gave them to him for Christmas) I agreed; anything to get rid of that smell. They have been doing fine, but now Loki is occasionally throwing up and the inside of her mouth seems pinker. Lexi is fine, no problems. We just switched to Canidae all life stages today, and I'm hoping that whatever the problem is, the new foods clears up. I'm interested in knowing what the pinkness might be, if anyone has experienced this before. Thank you in advance!!!

My boxer is incredibly sensitive to food. He gets the runs if there's anything even slightly wrong with a food. Maybe yours throws up for the same reasons. Merrick's works for us and so does Evangers.

The throwing up started before we switched to Canidae, her chin is pink but just cuz of lack of pigment, and by pink I mean her tounge and the inside of her mouth was pinker than usual.
We mixed what was left of the Purina in with the Canidae, but they didn't eat the Purina, just the Canidae! So they switched themselves all at once.
She isn't throwing up anymore, at least not that I can see or tell, so I'm guessing it might have been either all the pollen in the air, or she was starting to have reactions to the crap we were feeding them. But they have both been so much better since we put them on the Canidae on Monday. No complications of the switch as far as I can see. :)
