How could any one do that do an animal. She should get the same treatment that she gave that poor dog, glad to hear she did get time for her crime. Does anyone know how the dog is doing? Poor baby.

I remember that story. appicon I do wish the punishment could have been more though. I agree that it is great she is doing some jail time but I also agree that she should not be able to own a pet for life. How about smacking her really hard where it hurts a person with this type of mentality...the POCKETBOOK! I mean if they threw a huge fine at her that would take many years to pay back she would not quickly forget what her stupid act cost her, literally. Can you imagine her looking at her paystub every time and seeing the deduction! Even better have the fine she pays go to a pet rescue/shelter. I don't know about her working in a shelter though. How about a farm shoveling large piles of horse poo! evilicon

OK I am jumping off my soapbox! I hope Fraser felt the good vibe from the justice that was served!

That is just horrible. It says he had pnemonia, that would be hard enough to breathe with much less with your mouth taped shut, that woman should have to have a stuffed up nose and then have her mouth taped shut for a day and then maybe she would see how awful such a crime is. Makes me ashame I am a human not to mention a woman.

What upsets me so much about these stories is that dogs are just so trusting.
This is why people can do so many awful things to them . Dogs are just so willing to trust that humans are not going to harm them, however when one bites becuase of what we are doing to them now or possibly a flashback from the past, they just bite. Then all of the sudden they are presumed bad and must be put down. What kind of sense is that? The same judges letting the abusers get off lightly are the same ones who decide a dog needs to be put down?

I think that humans have lost touch with nature ( BW not included of course) but really humans have settled in on thinking that nothing else matters but thier comfort. It always hurts to hear that an animals was abused, put down, or hurt in any way. but It really doesn't suprise me. I have met plenty of people that think animals are worthless. Yes these same people might shelter a puppy or kitten for a few weeks until it isn't cute anymore or maybe tie it up to something and forget about it. Then the poor animal will get pregnant and start the cycle all over again. There are terrible people in the world and I believe that starts with the ones who hurt animals. There is something very very sick about someone who would torture a innocent, defenseless, and loving creature. The reason that those people don't care is because animals don't have a voice, they don't have money or influential family and friends. It just makes me sick... sorry for the vent.
