Something Has Worked...so far!(long)
Believe it or not the dogs have taught my husband to clean up after himself. Since most of the things they chewed belonged to him, he realized that if they weren't left out they don't have access. So far, no more chewed baseball caps nor magazines. We also use a bungy cord to keep the lid tight on our trash can, so they no longer have access to those "goodies" All the doors in the house get shut at night. So they are now confined to the run of the kitchen, living room and sunroom. They love fleece blankets so, we have donated 2 old ones to the dogs to snuggle with. We also have been making sure their crate doors are left open at all time for easy access. Their crates are in the kitchen. So far we have been free of messes for 3-days and 3-nights. Reading your responses, I couldn't help but notice our females seem to be the devious ones. We have also showered them with praise every A.M. when the house is found in one-piece (treats, kisses, and massages...) Thank you to everyone!
