They actually offloaded her onto the luggage carousel??? That's just crazy - anytime I've flown a dog, they always go to the oversize luggage area, along with fragile things, skis, etc. What a sport Clover is...you never know, maybe now you'll have to take her to Disneyland so she can go on some rides!

Yes I will admit after everything was okay, I have now laughed about Clover and her airport experience...LOL - I just wish I had the camera she was just to funny and her face was priceless!

Chris - OMG - we heard that on the radio while out doing some shopping and I was so excited - my mom on the other hand just looked at me and rolled her eyes! I so badly want Clover to play in LOTS of snow!

I'll give you a call next week to see when a good time to get together is.

So glad you & Clover have safely arrived in the Midwest. I feel bad for poor little Clover, but at the same time, can just picture her going 'round and 'round on the carousel. Poor girl!

I'm flying into MI tomorrow from Chicago (short flight) where I will get to greet my girl (she's already in MI). Hope I can beat the snow!

Sara, what airline did you fly?
I can't believe they wouldn't tell you she was on board on the first flight (good thing you could see from your seat that she got on) and I also can't believe they put her on the carousel! The couple of times we've flown, a guy brought Gracie to the oversize baggage place on a cart.
Poor Clover--like you said it is a good thing they recover so fast!

What an adventure for Clover! I am so happy to hear all went well...you poor thing, I also would have stressed out!

My mom traveled from Athens Greece to Brownsville Texas with myself (I was 10 at the time) my then 8 yr old brothers and our first boxer Rocky and in New York we just made our flight, but were told Rocky would have to be boarded on a later flight since the cargo area had been shut. My mom refused to leave and we sat in that airport for 7 hours just to make sure we ALL would be together on the next flight! The things we do for our babies!
