We made it...
Well we are here in COLD OHIO - boy was this an experience...poor Clover, luckily she bounces back so easily! First off - since it was only me, poor litle clover had to be in here Kennel the whole time we were in line - 2 hours, she was just shaking like a leaf, scared and curled up in one corner of her kennel. We get up to the ticket counter and the lady takes forever - 45 mins, then proceeds to tell me Boxers aren't allowed to fly when it's below 40 degrees, I look at her dumbfounded and say "umm no - they can't fly when it's above 75 degree's, but they sure can fly when it's below 40 with a Vet's approval and we have one, it's down to 20 degrees and it's suppose to be 25 when we land" - close I know but I wanted Clover home with me. Then she needs her bosses approval so fine, (we've already missed our flight), we get approval to head out on the 8am flight. Which we have 1 hour to get to - well she takes another 20 mins, then I have to go with Clover to the TSA room where they take the dog out of the kennle, check her everywhere and I mean everywhere, then check the kennel. Of course I wanted to give her a treat for being a tropper but the lady tells me after I put her in the kennel I'm now allowed to touch her or the kennle - I'm crying, Clover's shaking, the baggage guy promises he'll take care of her I tip him $40, still crying I run to the security line, wait through that, have 5 mins to run to the gate, I ask them to tell me when she is on board, they calim they can't so I'm raising hell, won't get on the plane till I know she's on, finally I have to get on, luck was on my side, I had the window seat next to the cargo door and saw them put her on. We fly into Dallas where I see little Clover's kennel just sitting out there beside the plane, they were much nicer in Dallas, someone when as gave her food and water

, met the captain and she promised to keep it warm and cozy in the cargo area for Clover, they even announced that she was on board, and the head flight attendant came and told me again not to worry. So I can finally relax and get some sleep on the 2 hr flight to Ohio. We get into Ohio and we waited 30 mins for Clover - this is kinda funny, luckily in the Dayton airport the carosoles (sp) are flat - anyway, they sent us to the wrong place, finally they direct us back to the baggage area, where Clover is riding around on the carasole - LOL, she looked so sad - everyone was like oh there goes the dog again, just riding around and around (she went through twice before we got to her) and look at how sad she is. She was good though, just sat there and waited for mommy to save her. Didn't bark or anything, was happy to be out of her kennel and bounce right back once she saw her brother and sister! Now we just have to do this again on 14 Jan!
