Will sleeping in bed cause behavior problems?

If I was to let Simba sleep in Bed with Us well.....She has but There is not way I can get a wink of sleep
. She and my b/f Will drive you crazy betwen the both of them snoring. Its like a Dody Sound system in the bed room at night. Drives my Bonkers 
Now If she didnt Snore then she is one that takes the blankets and rolls up in them 
. When she was little it was not that bad.. But gotta love them morin kiss's from Her (Simba) lovicon

When I first got Kayla she always wanted to sleep up on my face when I let her sleep in my bed.Now that I have had her for a few weeks she stays down by my feet or my knees.

I just recently started letting my cai-pooch in bed with me, and she believes she is queen of the bed, so we have had some alpha situations come up. But for the most part, it has been a blessing....now instead of waking me up with her shnuffling at 5:30 on weekends, she sleeps in with me, and sometimes goes back to sleep after I get up until it is time for breakfast! It saves on my heating bill too! I turn down my heater and snuggle with her! =) Now if I can just figure out a way to take back my pillow, we will be in good shape!

Boo sleeps with us every night ..as a matter of fact we had to buy a king size bed so there would be more room for all 3 of us...He knows I am Alpha...the only time he sleeps on the bed is when its bed time ..& I tell him " Lets go to bed" ..other wise he on the couch...I haven't had any problems what so ever ....Like Dan said ..as long as they know who is "alpha" there should be no problem...This is a personal choice ..but I wouldn't have it any other way ...Now if we ever get another Boxer ..don't know what we'll do then ...but we'll cross that bridge if & when we get to it ..!

Beasley sleeps with me every night but he has to wait until I've gotten myself settled in (I gotta stake out MY SPOT 
) and then he is allowed to get up with me. I recently upgraded from a full size to a queen size thinking this would make a bid difference as far as 'personal space' - HA!!! We usually start out with equal parts of the bed but by the time morning rolls around I'm usually clinging to the edge of the bed and and Beasley has all the covers, pillows, and has his chin resting on the back of my neck. lovicon

Both of ours have changed their sleeping arrangements as we have seen fit. Rita slept in her crate for the first couple of years because she was so anxious that she would not sleep at night, and we did not want her to pace the floor. As she settled down, we got Munson. Once he was potty trained they both slept in our bed. This was my favorite time. However, Munson began to challege Rita a little bit and once morning he refused to let Rita on the bed (low growl). That was the end of Munson's time on the bed and he has never been allowed on it since. He sleeps on two big pillows by my bed now. So - the moral of the story is - times change. If you want your dog to sleep with you and your dog is doing well with it - snooze away. However, monitor it and don't be afraid to change. Rita got irritated at me once for trying to move her in the middle of the night and grumbled a little. I promptly put her in her crate and she was not allowed on the bed for about a week. No problems since this lesson. They are like kids and can begin to take things for granted if allowed to do so. Never let them forget that you bought the bed and they don't have paying jobs! HA

We thought the same thing but Boomer Knows he has to be invited to sleep on the bed,he will put his head on the side as if to ask permission first and if we say ok he jumps on and will kidney bean as if to say thanks Buy the way he really dosen't have to ask because we would't have it any other way than to have him on the bed with us...

I wish we had taught rush that he has to be invited on the bed. I would definately suggest to do as some of the others have done such as make it an invitation only thing.
Rush is allowed to get on and off the bed whenever he wants to. He usually sleeps on his bed at first, and then in the middle of the night he'll jump up. But he'll run straight from the outside and jump on the bed whenever he wants and get mud all over it. I think I have to wash our bedding because of him like every other day. Our really nice comforter is beginning to get warn out from being washed so much.
My boyfriend has also made the bed a part of a new game they play, which is also why he thinks it's ok to jump on the bed when he is dirty. It's not only a sleep place for him now, it's a play place. They chase each other through the house with toys and then dive onto the bed and try to steal the toys from each other. It might be completely adorable but it is turning the bed into his favorte play place. Which means at night when we go to bed he jumps on it and wants to play.
