How long can a dog stay in a crate at one time? I always though that 4 hours is the max. Am I wrong?
Will it always be this hard??

Im really lucky that my sister inlaw lives up the street from me and comes over to let the liitle girl out and then my husband gets home at 2:30. otherwise i would feel really bad for the baby.

As soon as I saw the title of this post and then who wrote it, I chuckled. Yup- we've all been there 
and yes, it does get easier. It's hard for them too- always having to learn, always wanting to play, everything is new, nothing is the same. They pee and poop on themselves, have to get washed off, their friend and provider leaves each day, they have to hold their little bladders, whew! That's alot of work for a little guy!
Everytime I came home, exhasted and had to wash Luka off, I'd look at his little miserable puppy face in the mirror and say "I know, it's so hard being a puppy!"
I raced home every lunch break for 5 months, dutifully taking him out to use the bathroom and for a little walk before I had to return to work.
But them, at the end of the day, we'd curl up on the couch, and I'd look at him sleeping next to me lovicon
And it took about a month or so, but yeah, things got better- or at least easier
PS- Normally they only bark for a few minutes and then stop. Luka still does and he is 12 months old! It's a mourning for the loss of the pack. From what I've read, the louder a pup cries, the more likely it is to get attention from it's mom over the litter.
