BOXERMAX04
Boxer Pal
This morning I realized why I own two Boxers. It's the humor, I havn't laughed this hard in a long time. Maximus is about a year now and sleeps on his bed in our room. Alcina is 15 weeks and sleeps in her crate in the spare room. I got up this morning and let Alcina and Max outside to do their buisness and left the door open so they could come in when they were done. I decided to crawl back in bed, it was a lazy morning. So I'm laying there talking to my wife and Max crawls into the bed for some petting. Then the fun begins. We hear Alcina doing to "burn" in the living room (she had to have done 20 laps), then we hear her move to the tiled kitchen. We hear the food bowls go flying, then the trash can, then a very loud thump we can only guess was her head making contact with the door when her brakes failed.
Now cue the Jaws music. The sound of the "burn" starts making it's way down the hall toward our room. All we see is this 25lbs, brown projectile, with ears slicked back, flying through the air toward Maximus. Now it's on, cue the boxing announcer "Let's get ready to rumble". Our bed turns into a tornado of brown fur as these two start rolling around. Maximus doing his best to get her to let go of his chops, and Alcina sounding like the spawn of satan (she really sounds evil when she's playing). Now comes the only cure for two hyper boxers that you want to settle down for 5 minutes. The sound of dog food in the bottom of a metal dog bowl. As I turn around, there they are sitting in thier spots with this nubbs wagging uncontrollably looking like two little angles. And so it ends, another sunday morning with two of the world's greatest dogs.
