Why Me?

There are 4 people living in the house, mainly its my sons job to feed the dogs supper at 8pm, but why do the dogs always bark at me when it gets time to feed them? We can be all sitting in the livingroom and they start getting antsy around 7:45, and wont let me have any peace untill there fed! I say Martys right there , you tell him!


P.S. How many of you out there where cought being on regular time and the dogs tummys where still working the daylight savings time?

It seems Austin doesn't like anyone but me to let him out. If my hub is watching tv in the living room and I'm watching in the bedroom he'll sit outside the door and stare at me. If hub tries to let him out he'll run back to me. Must be the way I open the door or something!

If your dogs are anything like mine, they probably see you as the authority figure and primary care giver. I'm the one they wake up in the middle of the night if they have to go out (UGH!). - Cathy

They are a trip, aren't they?

Our 19 month old male member Max, will wake me up to take him out at 5am, then he camps out as my better half gets ready for work. I will have coffee and go on about my business. He will only go out for me and walk with me with no problem, but he has to make sure she is ready for work. I work at home, when she goes to work, he will jump back in bed. They are a trip.

my babies wont let anybody else let them out in the mornings but me... and whenever they come back in (anytime of day or night)especially sinbad)if i dont let him in and he cant see me he will run through the house looking for me and if i am laying in bed he jumps on me and acts like he has not seen me for days....got to love them....

My two does the same thing with food and going out. My husband could be sitting next to them on the couch watching tv and me sleeping upstairs, they would come up and sit by the bed to be let out. I'm not sure about them seeing me as the authority figure but definitely the care giver. Boy, are we trained.......

Rob- Same here re daylight savings time. Went to vote at 4:00, got home at 4:20 and the dogs were begging for food as soon as I walked in the door.

I wish they would stop messing with the time and then maybe I wouldn't be so darn grumpy:(

Otis is still on daylight savings time, too. He has been getting hungry earlier than dinnertime. But the worse part is, he's been getting up at 8 am instead of 9 am!!
