Why Don't Boxer's Fetch?

Bailey loves his morning fetch sessions with daddy. They play in the yard . There is alot of sand an Bailey likes running around in it. Sometimes getting real dirty. He also sometimes just watches the ball fly and just stare at it from a distance. Then he wont go get it he just barks at you. I think he wants us to go get it and then hell play again. I dont like doing that si now i just ignore him till he brings it back.

Jackson loves to fetch....its just that after awhile you get tired of throwing, and getting slober all over your forearms....Boxers are wonderful.

Jacksondad, boy did you hit the nail on the head! I carry a towel with me whenever we play ball so we can keep it at least kind of dry!

Penalty isn't much on the Fetch game, but we are getting better. He finally learned..."Drop It"-- when he plays his version of both keep away and fetch. I think it is a Boxer thing! But geez, he can play for hours...
