Whose Boxer's are just big babies?

Tuggy is SUCH a big baby, it is unreal. When he is tired or doesn't feel good he has to be right in my lap.

Yesterday was a prime example. We went up to the dog park and met other boxer's. Well on the way up Tuggy got tired of riding in the back, and wanted to sit up front. SO he rode on my lap and looked out the window. Then on the way home, he was SO tired and wanted to sleep on mommy that he rode home on my lap again, with his head nestled in my neck. My legs were completely numb by the time we got home.

I guess he has no clue what a heavy boy he really is, but he is my big mushy faced baby!

You mean they aren't all like that? I know Beau sure is. He has to be touching me at all times. Don't tell him, but I wouldn't want it any other way!

Oh my gosh!! My Tatie is the biggest baby!!

I have had Boston Terriers (I should say Terrors!) for several years now. My current 6 month old Boston, Ellie is approx. 10lbs. She was jumping off the highest point of anything at 12 weeks old (on/off the bed, from couch to chair, kitchen table, etc.). When someone was home with her we called it suicide watch. Tatie, the first Boxer I've ever had, is over 20lbs at 14 weeks old and cries to be lifted on/off the couch, bed, chair, etc. She is so cute - she really thinks she can't jump that high!

Ellie is very protective over me and will run and bark at any unfamiliar noise. Tatie will run and hide at any unfamiliar noise

The both LOVE to sit on my lap - at the same time. This is funny 'cuz Tatie is so big now and it's really difficult to fit them both (I'm only 5'2!). I have these long Tatie legs hanging over every which way.

It is so funny how little dogs think they're big and big dogs think their little. I love them both!

I don't know a boxer that isn't a big baby. Both of ours are the biggest babies imaginable. So much fun to love them!

Cisco is a big baby also, and I love it!!!
If I am sitting anywhere, he is standing over my lap, or lying in it!

Both my boys are big babies! They both like to sit on my lap when I'm sitting onthe floor. Or they'll come up and cuddle with me. Koda even likes to rock with me (although he can only fit the top half of his body up there). I just love that my boys are my babies!! They make me feel so loved! And now that my skin kids are getting older and too big to hug and kiss on me, I know I can count on my boys!!

chloe is a big baby always has to be right next to you, follows from room to room and has to touch you constantly but i wouldnt want it to be any differently. shes my baby girl

I would bet that every member here, at one post or another, has referred to their Boxers as their "babies."
Probably because they stay cute and cuddly all their lives.

He has to be touching me at all times.

I'm not sure where he got it from, but Sammy calls that "channelling". He said that they have to have some part of their body touching yours at all times so they know when you go somewhere. He seems to think it has something to do with their protective instinct. I don't know, but I love it!

Layla is definitly Mama's baby girl! She runs to me if she hurts herself or if dad is telling her no for some reason she runs to me for the boxer lean. She loves to sit on my lap and even sleeps with her head on my pillow along with me all cuddled in. Before I found boxerworld I thought that my baby was so original in her loving way, until I read that most if not all boxers have this sweet personality. We are all so lucky to know the love of a boxer!
