We got Duchess a little over a year ago and got Barrett a few months ago. We are pretty new to the boxer family and LOVE them!

Well, lets think a minute.... TUG is our third boxer. First boxer girl was Cinders. We got her in 1981 and then we got Brit on Christmas Day 1994 and TUG November 21, 2004.
Been here since November 2000. So, I guess I am a veteran of sorts!

I'm not new to Boxers but I am to BW. We got our first Boxer Faithy in 1995 and she just passed away this summer at 10 1/2 years old and now we have Ellie. We've had her for about a month now and she's just over three months.

I've had Titan for 2yrs come February, I got him at 9months. He's a blast and I plan on having many more in the future.

My brother got his first boxer, Butkus in 96 and he passed in 04 and now he has Titan's sis, Zoey who he also got at 9mo and has had for almost 2yrs. He too says nothing but boxers for him.

My hubby bought his first boxer - Tyson - for his SISTER for HER 18th birthday (wink wink nudge nudge) in 1990'ish. I met my hubby about 3 years later and we have been together ever since. I think I saw and spent more time with Tyson at my hubbies folks place than with our bulldogs at my folks. Tyson also lived with us for a few years, so hopefully I can call him my first boxer. We got Sugar and Ray in 1996, they will be 10 next year.

Does that make me a veteran ?? I don't know, but I do know what breed my next dog is going to be :D, so I guess in the end I will most certainly be one !!

What do you mean we can't count childhood boxers!!??!! I would win hands-down. Okay, keep in mind, I am 26 years old. Since I moved out at age 19, I have had (this is just boxers!) Ruckus (he was my present when I was 14 but I'm counting him anyway!!), Dudley "dud" (RIP - Cancer), Maximum Justice (RIP), Roxy Islandars and now Guinness "Righteous Black & Tan". That's 5 in 7 years. But, if we were able to count childhood, since I was born I have Slick, Buckwheat, Sassy, Sammy (I swear to God, our dog Sammy was named after my now BF - my sister named her white female Sammy after him!! she met him at a party and thought he was so funny, at the time I was probably around 12 years old!), Runt, Buster, Ike, Junior, Bullet and Bonnie. That's just ones that I can remember!! So, there's an additional 10, then I've had my boxer-only fosters: Bronx, Bain, Maxwell, and Bosco.

I am on my second boxer and second husband, lol. I had my first boxer, Jake from 1991-2001. He was my baby. All 85 lbs of him, lol. I got divorced and later met my second husband, who has two mini schnauzers that he "inherited" from his daughter. He was aware how much I missed Jake and this past birthday, he got Jesse for me! Jesse is 13 weeks and is an absolute terror to his sisters. DH is a newbie to boxers and his reaction at times is pretty comical. I thank God he is so easy going. Last night, dh went into our home office to pay some bills while I was cooking supper. He started calling to me to please bring some papertowels and the carpet cleaner. I thought uh-oh. But it was worse than I imagined! He walked into the room, BAREFOOT and slipped in a poop pile. He saw the shocked look on my face...I thought he'd be mad but he made a joke that the poop just jumped up and attacked him. I am still laughing and so thankful to have found such a wonderful man. I think he's got a case of boxer-fever now too.

Sorry to have rambled, but last night was just one of those magic moments!
