Ruby sleeps on my bed, usually half way down all night, then about 6am she comes up to me and gets into the bed for a cuddle, goes back to sleep till 7am...usually on the dot, then she sits up looking at me as if to say 'Come on then' then its downstairs in the garden for no 1 and 2, then shes back up the stairs to jump on the beds of both my sons, waking them up! I blow her whistle then shes galloping down the stairs for her breakfast! Every morning exactly the same, what are your boxers morning routines like? :)

Max is like clock work too. He wont move until about 7am, he will go get one of his toys, play with it for about 5 minutes then go back to back. He will then wake up at 8.15am running around my bed. I then need to take him out for a pee.

Strangly enough, the other boxer will get up every morning at the exact same time. day in day out.

I get up around 5am. I always have and probably always will. I drink some coffee and watch the news. Maxwell wakes up around 5:45. I let him out for #1. Then he eats and goes right out for #2. Then he goes into the bedroom and snuggles with DH until I leave for work and DH goes to work. DH says every morning he gets an ice cube when DH is making his lunch.

Even on my days off that is the routine. They are such creatures of habit because I think we are and teach them our routine.

Same thing

Blizzy would always always always wake me at 4:30am..go potty, get a drink and head back upstairs to finish her morning snooze waking again at 6:30am when it was time for my older daughter to get up for school.

I work from home so getting up that early means that I am done with work by 10:30am! Before i worked from home Blizzy would wake me at 6am..which was the time I needed to get up to get ready for work. Once I started working from home (4yrs ago) Blizzy seemed to change her schedule and started waking me earlier and earlier. At first I was so mad about it but then grew to like it..

Since she passed (Dec 26th) I have noticed I don't wake as early as I did..and that alarm clock of mine (a real alarm clock..heeehee) doesn't wake me at all. Need a new fur clock! (soon enough, new baby was born on Saturday and will be ready to go home to me around the first weekend of April!)

With Kiddos cancer and meds we have to get up every 2 hours or so....but I feed at the 4:30am break and go back to bed. That's when they decide to do the heaviest sleeping,so while I HAVE to get up and dress for work,Kid and Chance are still snuggled on the bed sound asleep...until I POUNCE on THEM for a change! I love that payback part-I never knew dogs could give the evil eye evilicon

Same Time Every Morning!

Dutchess even at 12 weeks wakes up the same time every morning. She sleeps in her crate in our bedroom next to our bed. Dutchess wakes up at 6:30 every morning and go's out does #1 and some times #2 then comes in and wants to play about an hour latter she sniffs at the bag of dog food on the floor and I make her food up for her. Its amazing so far as young as she is she is smart enough to not have an accident an make it outside. Dutchess even scratches at the back door to go out when she needs to, even with all the snow we had gotton here she still went out and did her thing with the snow almost up to her chest. My husband shoveled an area outside the sliders for her to go but she still climbs up on the snow to go to the bathroom sometimes which is so funny.

Rogue wakes up at 8.30am on her own, but I'm up before that (week days), so I wake her up about 8am, & take her outside for a wee, then she comes back in & straight back in the crate while me & my daughter get ready for school.

Coz I have woke her up 1/2 hr before her time she is still sleepy, so she's happy to lounge in her crate till I get back from the school run.

Then I let her out for her breakfast. After that she goes back outside for her number 2's. After that she plays for 10mins, & then goes back to her crate for another snooze till about 11am.

Rogue likes her sleep. :)

Like clock work

Kilbane wakes up at 6:30 am everyday to do his business, then it's back to bed until 8 am. Once we get up he goes right to his bowl and sits, after that it's time to do some burns in the back yard.

Elvis shuffles in his bean bag around 6:15-6:30 which makes a really loud noise, if I make no effort to get up he will start to yawn real loud and stretch all over the floor, so I have no choice to lie in and have to get up!

Mine normally get up when I tell them "time to go outside". This only happens during the week when I work. I wake up at 7:50 and shower, during the shower they just lay in bed. Then they go outside for 1 and 2 and come back in and lay on the couch or back in bed. On days I dont work they will wake me up at 8:30 by sitting and staring at me. The best days are when they wake up by playing on top of me in the bed.
