Hi Everyone - Hoping you can help...
Hudson, my 1 year old male boxer, has white bumps on the insides of his eyelids. He also has a rather large "blood bubble" on the lower left eyelid. He has very droopy eyelids, and we go to a very good vet. This is the 2nd time this has happened. We "cured" it the first time, however, we were told by an opthamologist that it would not come back. Oops...it did. So Hudson is back on his antibiotics, and an eye gel. He may have to go back on steroids if the eyegel doesn't work. It's terrible when he's on steroids b/c he pees constantly. So i'm hoping we won't have to.
Have any of you all experienced this? Any idea what could be causing his eyes to inflame like this? Hudson has had medical issues around his head all of his life. His face will break out in pustules on occassion (which is why we were on the antibiotic in the first place). We're pretty sure he has an allergy, so he's just started IVD hypo-allergen food. Any/all help is appreciated!
