I have gotten the "is that a dalmation/boxer mix" question, but most of the time its "I've never heard of a white boxer, is he albino" Gotta love the whiteys!

American Bulldog is the most common one we get, I have got Dalmation on several ocassions which really cracks me up, and sometimes he gets mistaken for a pit bull and even a Dogo. Oh yes and they alwasy ask if he is an albino smashicon

There is a Dogo that frequents our dog park, Cash LOVES, LOVES him. Tsar lays down and lets Cassius climb all over him!!

I've never had a white boxer (although I'd love one). One time I had Rocky, our first boxer (plain fawn) at a local park and a bunch of people were petting him, and one person asked if he was a pug! :D People around here almost always know that Zack is a boxer. I got all kinds of guesses for Rocky's breed but hardly ever the right one. Maybe boxers are getting more popular? The thing I hate is when I see people acting like they are afraid of a boxer because they think it's a pit bull.

A lot of people ask if Powder is an American Bulldog. Occasionally, with really ignorant people, a pit bull. I can see an American Bulldog if your not familiar with Boxers. I have seen several that look a lot like boxers until I got closer. So I let them slide with "No she is a white Boxer". But people asking if she is a pit gets the Boxer Standard demonstrated to them so they don’t make that mistake again. One person working at Petsmart thought she was an albino. I had to explain to her the difference between the two. She didn’t have a clue. I have noticed if someone asks if she is a bulldog or pit she will pull back away and not let them pet her. As if to say, call me a pit will you, no loving for you.

Actually I have a Bulldog- Dalmation mix. He is 3/4 English Bulldog and 1/4 Dalmation. He looks like a English Bulldog without the really smashed face and he has longer ears...but he has the spots. Alot of people think he looks like a Boxer. We named him Oreo :)

We mostly get asked if our Maggie is a Pitbull, but we've also been asked if she's an American Bulldog. When we tell people she's a Boxer, we ALWAYS get the follow up question....is she albino?? I do love the attention we get when we take her out....I love to hear people whisper "Look...a white Boxer!". :)

no one ever told me she looked like a mix before but ...

i was in a drive through to get some food a couple of weeks ago and this guy asked me what kind of dog Asia was (her head was poking out of the back seat because she didn't want to miss out on anything) and i told him 'a boxer'. he replied to me 'theres no way shes a boxer, her ears aren't pointed'. i kinda laughed and i said 'you know you have to get their ears fixed to look that way, otherwise they look like hers do'. he was 110% convinced there was no way she was a boxer or if she was that she was mixed!!

my boyfriend said ''boy you sure don't know much about dogs, do you?'' as we were driving off...

i thought it was actually a little entertaining smashicon

My girl Tae is a flashy fawn, but I have to say that when I was new to the breed, I took Tae to the dog park and there was a beautiful white boxer there with cropped ears and docked tail. I thought to myself "what a pretty pit." Several week later, I saw her again and felt embarrassed :p Now, when I see that Boxer girl I am just transfixed. She's so pretty!
