I agree with Adelle- Oskar is a dark fawn his butt is course but he is velvety on his neck face and head. His white belly is very soft. Softer than the velvet fawn.

I have had the pleasure of meeting quite a few velvety soft, amazingly soft coated white boxers. I have a silky smooth fawn but this was completely different. A bit longer hair maybe but just totally different in the way it felt so soft!

I have a few friends that agree- the softed dogs we have ever felt have been white boxers!

Got to agree, My Bella`s white and people always comment on how soft her coat is.

wow, I never really thought about it before but you are all right . Buster has a brindle coat, which is smooth and shiny but not exactly soft. Yet his white chest is like a bunnys.!

agreeing~

my Petey is white..and I also refer to his velvet like fur, it is softer, and he never seems to have an odor... he just always smells clean...I brush him once every few weeks and yet he always seems to be and stays clean.. I think it has to do with pigmentaion..not sure..but don't worry, boxers who are white have always had a softer velvet like fur...In working for a vet I see this all the time.....

Yup, Milo's (the white) coat is definitely softer than Rocco's (the brindle). Rocco's chest is white and that is so soft. It's definitely a fur thing! :)

Ozzy has soft white fur too! He only gets a bath when he needs one, skunks etc. I also use oatmeal shampoo. You guys all have beautiful white boxers!
