white boxer owners

i really didnt think much of it but alot of people have stopped to ask me if spanky was an american bulldog( usually i get pitbull )quite a few people have mistaken him for one, has this happened to any of you guys?

Casper's been mistaken for a pit bull and they're not even allowed in this country, failing that we get is he an American Bulldog. One bloke even asked if he was crossed with a Great dane :rolleyes:

That is usually what I get about Yogi. Then when I say Boxer, people will almost always say - I've never seen a white boxer before. Yogi doesn't mind though, as long as there's an ear scratch or back rub along with it!!

Yes, I get both with my white boy. Oddly enough the only person to guess he is a Boxer (outside of like the vet's office and such) was a 10 year old boy at my son's school who has a couple of Boxers at home.

We have had comments about amercain bulldogs and old english bulldogges ..As they have tails its even more confusing for some people ... jj

I've gotten the American Bulldog comment a few times with Caney. And then there are the smarties who can't quite figure out what she is, but are sure that she's got some Dalmatian in her :rolleyes:

LoL when I took Tyson to my son's school to pick him up I heard a little girl saying "mommie mommie look a DALMATION" ROLMAO!

Yep, Mr. Beau has been called an American Bulldog a few times. The funny thing is that he had an American Bulldog buddy at the dog park and they really could have been twins if she hadn't had a full tail so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised when people ask
