Laila has destoyed her pillow for the 3rd and final time. She loves to destroy stuffing. Does anyone else have this issue? Would I be better with a blanket or nothing for her to lay on. I just do not want her laying on the plastic tray all day. Maybe she would not mind who knows?

Rogue used to do that too. I now use a fleece blanket when she is to be crated. It has been slightly chewed, but has proved to be pretty tough. :)

Try a different type of bedding. Bear will eat the stuffing out of anything that's fluffy, but doesn't tear up crate pads, towels, etc.

We just had the same problem. Splash had a nice bed in his crate and I came home to him sitting in a pile of stuffing. So I ended up ordering a mat to put in the crate and so far so good. But, the other day the DH left a new fleece blanket that we had bought to put in the crate or on top of it and while he was doing some quick errands Splash had pulled the blanket in and torn it in half. We came home and he was sleeping on the mess. So needless to say if we aren't home then the blanket doesn't go on top of the crate. We have gone through a few beds and the mat has lasted a whole week!! :) so far!!!

Our Leila does the same thing. We have switched to fleece blankets too or bedding that doesn't have stuffing.

We had the same problem, so I put a blanket in instead and Maximus chewed that too. But he actually ate some of it. So we took everything out completly for about 2-3 weeks. I felt bad, but it was better than him choking on it. Then one day we decided to put a blanket back because it was cold in the house and he hasn't chewed it since. I think he decided that he didn't like sleeping on the plastic??
