where she is white she is real pink

We noticed tonight that our 13 week old puppy is alot pinker than usual. Where she hase white on her face it is real pink, even on her stomach..Did not know whether it was just from playing alot today or what. She does seem to be acting normal....We are painting at this time, and i am 100 percent sure she did not get into the paint. Me and my wife are taking turns dog sitting why the other is painting... Hopefully it is just one of those things that happen once and a while....

My Lacey was getting very pink on the belly last summer. It was allergies. She also gets irritated under her jaw (chin). If she seems itchy I'd call the vet and see what to do about it. I give Lacey allergy meds when needed.

I have a white boxer and when she gets excited or is playing a lot she becomes VERY pink It's more noticable on her because she is all white. Chance who is fawn, will also turn alittle pinkish on his chest were he is white if he becomes excited or hyper.

Boo is irritated on his chin ....I thought it was from chewing on a frozen wash cloth, I took it away... which was about a week ago .......he is teething...some days it not as irritated ...just when I think its getting better ....it looks pink & irriated again ...he's not irritated or pink any where else ...didn't think of allergies ....I have some childerns allergy meds ...should I give it to him ...! :confused:

Lucy has a white muzzel. Everynight she lays on her back for your tummy to be rubbed and the more you rub and the sleeper she gets the pinker (it that's a word) she gets! When we got her from Rescue, we were told that they will sometimes turn pink when they are happy-

Keep in mind though, she is not pink all the time.

Titus our handsome boy is all white. When he plays or runs around, he will get very pink in the mouth and eyes. His skin turns pinker also. We say he is blushing!!

We also notice this on Madison. She seems to get really pink when she is sleeping or is getting tired. She is white around her mouth and on her chest, so it is very noticiable.

Bella is all white and gets very pink at times. it`s usually round her mouth and on her tummy, but it doesnt bother her.

Finnegan who is white has a very pink completion, in fact if he was a female I think I would have called him Pink, he gets even more pink when he is hot or running around but don't forget they can also get sun burnt, and that could be why she is a bit more pink especially in those white areas, so make sure to keep her in the shade as much as possible

We were painting different areas in our house this past long weekend (getting ready to put our house up for sale). We have a white who has severe skin allergies (food and airborne). Since it's quite hot/humid out, we've kept the doors/windows shut. Never even stopped to think how it would affect our white boy. He got severely red/irritated on his belly, armpits, etc. He scratched himself raw. I gave him an extra benadryl and the next morning we opened up the doors/windows. It really helped, as he's healing up pretty well already.

What an ultra-sensitive little guy he is.
