Dan's thread got me thinking, I keep my treats in a fish bowl looking glass bowl with a lid and boy there is no way I can get a treat out of there without one of them hearing me!! My friend has one that is shaped like a dog and when you touch the top it barks and a treat come out!!

What does your jar or bowl look like?

I keep the treats in a plastic Rubbermaid container with a screw on lid - nothing fancy! I don't know how but they can be in the other room but it's like they can hear the lid being unscrewed & they come barrelling into the kitchen

I have a treat jar for doggies, ceramic, which is on top shelf of my wine rack. Those are the small treats.

The other boxes of big treats are in the kitchen cabinet next to the dishwasher. Susie sometimes just sits and bubbles in front of the cabinet. Maggie will lie down in front of it, looking longingly at me whenever I come into the kitchen. They usually do this only AFTER I've just given them a treat. They always want more :) Luckily they haven't figured out how to open that cabinet yet, or I'd have to float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade!! My Little Chunky Monkeys!! :) :)

I buy their treats in bulk and keep them in coffee cans with lids.

Occasionally, we bake homemade treats (Debbie Knowles gave me her recipe. Thank you DK.) and those are kept in ziplocs.

since i moved, all of tyler's treats are kept on top of the fridge, in about 5 snap-lid plastic containers (we keep a large assortment of treats) along with any other kind of food product other than his food . . . i dunno if he knows that they are up there, but he certainly knows what the jars look like - the drool just starts to pour!:p

I have a tin in the kitchen, on the counter, and a tin on the back porch for easy rewarding! It's a pretty large tin--I ordered several a long time ago from Purina. It has cute dog pics on it.

I have a glass jar with a lid that I keep on the counter for the homemade treats. I had bought this jar years ago in Fla at a tag sale, and just recently found out it is old and worth a few $$$ so I handle it with care ;) Bought treats used to be kept in my lower cupboard, but Clyde is smart and figured out how to get the cuppboard open  so they are now way up high!!

I also keep treats in my coat pockets at all times as well as in my purse. The purse part became an issue with Clyde as well, every chance he got, he was tearing into my purse to treat himself. I truly have to keep one step ahead of my boy at all times :D

Treats

Jersey's treats are in one of those tall glass spaggetti noodle jars or pasta jars. It works great cause it holds quite a bit of milk bones, The jar is on my wine rack, and whenever I even pass the wine rack He runs to it and sits down waiting for a treat :D I have started using an alternate route to get to the kitchen. *LOL* :p

i keep mine in a plastic jar, that snaps open and shut, it is clear with paw prints on it. my friend has on of those containers that look like a dog and when you open his mouth to get a treat out it barks, you just open that thing up and no matter where his dog is, the dog comes running, its kinda funny.

Treats?! Now why would there be treats around my house! Let's see, I have the lamb ears in their little plastic bag, the doggie biscottis and vanilla-flavored doggie cookies that are in their jars... the peanut butter flavored dog biscuits in the big glass jar with the lid that looks like those that sit on the counter in candy stores....the greenies in the basket on top of the microwave...there are more dog treats around my house than human snacks. I have to scrounge for me.
