I am not sure if you guys here can give me an answer but i am going to post my question.
We got Nina 4 weeks ago....she is a bit over 16 weeks. She has been a true joy and worth the LONG wait. She is picking things up daily...she is very smart.
My youngest daughter who is 3 was born proufoundly deaf and hears with a device called a cochlear implant. There are times that she has to be without it.
Since Nina's hearing is so amazing as is most dogs...my goal is to teach Nina to be a hearing guide dog....but i dont know how to do it...and where to go to learn.
My daughter is too young to get a hearing guide dog...she must be 18 and live on her own...these are the guidelines here in Canada.....this was one of the reasons we got Nina.
I am willing to do the trainning...but really dont know how early to start and what to do?
Any advice?
thanks
