Lenny is about six and a half months old now (solid brindle baby) and he weighs about 53 pounds. I feed him Innova puppy chow, he eats about 3 and a half cups a day, divided into three meals. I routinely add about a heaping tablespoon or so of wet food just to make it interesting, he also gets a few treats, surprisingly enough. He is still quite lean, not at all skinny, but waist is narrow and rib shadows are there. The woman who runs the pet store where I buy my Innova said I should cut him back on the puppy chow starting with this bag, by mixing in adult chow. I said, "already?" She said I should slow him down on his growth a bit. What do you think? I haven't changed anything yet.
