Farley was just neutered the third week of May and his 6-month birthday is Sunday. Our vet said she always recommends doing it in this timeframe. Also, I have a friend who waited several years to neuter his Lab and had MAJOR problems b/c of it. I'm not clear enough on the details to offer the medical reasons, but I do know he had spent about $2,000 when all was said and done.
