When do they get it
We decided when we got our first boxer to try the bell on the door method of potty training. My husband was VERY sceptical but soon changed his mind. Two weeks after we brought Maggie home, she was ringing the bell when she had to relieve herself. It was absolutely the best thing we've ever done when potty training a puppy.
Simply hang a bell from the door knob, ring it everytime you let them out and soon the pup will associate the ring with having to relieve itself. Good luck with the training....fortunately, boxers are the smartest (almost too smart) dogs around and will soon you will forget those middle of the night standing in the yard waiting
