I guess I was pretty lucky. Abbie slep through the night ever since I got her at 8 weeks. She's never whined in her crate.

My Baby is 18 weeks old and I have had him since he was 12 weeks old (the breeder kept him until the stitches were ready to be removed from the ears being cropped). He has always slept until 6 or 7 AM. Lately he has been sleeping longer. This morning my alarm clock woke us up at 7:30AM, but whenever he goes out he goes pee for what seems like an eternity. :)

Kilbane was sleeping through the night at 8 weeks. He will sack out around 10 pm, then I wake him for a potty time around 1 am when I go to bed. He won't wake up again until 7:30/8 am. Most of the time he'll go back bed after I leave for work.

Boxer Pal
Millie started sleeping through the night a week and a half after we got her, so about 10.5 weeks. For the first week, one of us would sleep on the couch next to her and sah shhh very calmly and consistently, she would only whine/bark for a couple minutes. We slowly weaned from sleeping with her the entire night, to then only until she fell asleep, and now not at all. She sleeps from 10-7 with one bathroom break at 11. Those first couple weeks we were VERY tired!

I was more than surprised with ABBY. She has been able to sleep though the night ever since I've had her when she was eight weeks old. There have been times where she was real restless and she woke me up, but don't we all have those.

Marcus

Boxer Buddy
Marcus is 10 weeks old and when we first brought him home at 7 weeks I set an alarm for 3 hours from the time he last went. Then the following week I did 4 hours and before the week finished he was up to 5 hours. Now at 10 weeks he can go 6 hours (maybe longer but he's on a special diet with wet food that has a LOT of water in it). As for the whining in the crate I read in Boxers for Dummies to in a firm voice say QUIET and it will get him to quiet down. You will have to repeat yourself a couple of times and maybe even hit the crate with the palm of your hand while saying quiet but he will get it. I also give Marcus a treat after outting him in so he knows he's been good and it not for timeout.
